Bag Factory in association with Morris Isaacson Centre for Music hosted a 7-day school holiday programme from 2 October 2023 - 6 October 2023 consisting of visual art workshops conducted by practicing early and mid-career artists.
This programme aimed to provide school going children with exciting art educational experiences. They were exposed to various mediums and the study of art history. The workshops were designed to ignite their imagination and give children an opportunity to engage in visual arts education. Led by seasoned professionals, the hands-on experience guided them through creative artistic techniques.
We hosted a successful School Holiday Visual Arts Programme at Bag Factory with two facilitators, Boitumelo Motau and Senzeni Marasela and at Morris Isaacson Centre for Music with two more facilitators, Mummy Khumalo and Dathini Mzayiya.
It was an eventful time filled with curious minds and happy feet making Bag Factory their home for a week.
