(con)temporary
Aage Langhelle
is an artist from Norway. In his project (con)temporary (contemporary
and temporary) the central issues are social spaces and contemporary
constructions. Memory, collecting and archives are central points
in his work. He deals with spaces, objects and situations that
are created more or less by coincidence or improvisation. In this
context, while staying in South-Africa, he focused on Spazashops
and Hawkers.
Aage Langhelle
was born 1959 in Bergen/Norway.
Education: National College of Art and Design, Oslo. National
Academies of Fine Arts in Bergen, Oslo and Hamburg. Single and
Group Exhibitions in different countries. He lives and works in
Berlin.
